French Bulldog Wins Mayoral Race in Kentucky Town

Rabbit Hash, Kentucky has a new mayor. Wilbur Beast the French bulldog has been elected!

The Boone County river community has elected a dog mayor since the late 1990's to raise money for the Rabbit Hash Historical Society. Each vote equals a dollar donation.

In a tight race, Wilbur beat out a beagle named Jack Rabbit and a golden retriever named Poppy, who came in second and third place respectively, making them both Rabbit Hash Ambassadors.

The mayoral election raised over 13-thousand dollars for the Historical Society.
